The MAP System developed by LBX in correlation with Chris Costa features innovative designs that offers a tactical advantage on the field. MAP is short for Mission Adaptive Panel System. The Armatus plate carrier is designed to easily switch between different panels to meet each mission's specific requirements. This vest includes the LBX-4020B triple M4 magazine pouch panel. The pouches have an open-top design with bungee retention paired with S&S Precision Pull Tabs. Accessing magazines is an incredibly fast and easy task when using this vest. On the front of the Armatus is an integrated admin pouch with YKK zip-top closure and retains important items such as wallets, ID, maps, chemlights, and more. On the outside of the admin pouch is a 3" by 5.75" Velcro panel for identification and morale patches. LBX also took a new step towards a minimalist and lightweight vest by removing the bulky cummerbund commonly found on most plate carriers. Instead of a large load-bearing MOLLE cummerbund, LBX used a proprietary elastic that is lightweight and incredibly slim. This allows unrestricted movement, excellent weapon handling, and easy donning/doffing. The interior ballistic plate pockets can hold SAPI and swimmer plates. The sizing standards go by the size of the plate the user wears. Made out of waterproof, extremely abrasion-resistant, and lightweight 500D Cordura with YKK & Duraflex hardware.
