Description:
The Lancer Tactical SOPMOD M4 Carbine fills the niche for an affordable yet reliable airsoft primary. The externals are made out of ABS Polymer and features a quad RIS rail for lasers, flashlights, and grips. The full length M4 barrel features a 363mm smooth inner barrel attached to an adjustable hop-up. The upper receiver has an integrated rail for red-dot sights, scopes, and other optics. The carry handle has a rear adjustable iron sight for precision accuracy. The M4-style crane stock is adjustable to three positions. Internally, the Lancer Tactical M4 RIS Carbine has a full metal gearbox and a high torque motor shooting at 400 FPS (with .20g) at an impressive 15 rounds per second (RPS).

Disappointed with battery and no exchange
The battery that came with the gun was defective right out of the box. It buzzed and became extremely hot within less than a minute of charging. We asked about how to exchange the battery and were told we could not exchange it for one that worked because airrattle does not guarentee the battery from the manufacturer and it was a "freebie". This was disappointing. We have not used the gun yet, as we are waiting to head up north to use.

my box came torn apart and open the tape was not enough to keep the box shut in transit.

BEST STARTER GUN
I bought this gun freshman year of high school as my first airsoft AEG. Turned out to be a great choice (400 fps and very accurate for a $100 gun) . This gun made it through countless backyard games in the woods, and was dropped a couple times, but survived. Just tested it out (im a junior now) and it works like new. My only problem was a loose hop up, which caused the bbs to go straight into the ground and get caught in the barrel, this was easily fixed by removing the hop-up adjustment gear and putting in a rubber band to stop it from moving.
