Externally, the FNX-45 is constructed out of stainless steel, aluminum, and nylon-fiber polymer for an incredibly durable and realistic feel. FN Herstal trademarks are engraved on the slide, lower frame, and even the magazine. The Mil-Spec Red-Dot mounting platform fits all real-steel RMR optics and the iron sights are removable.
