In January 1983, Bernard C. White of Magnum Research filed a patent on a mechanism for a gas-actuated pistol which became the design of the Desert Eagle. The revolutionary design used mechanisms found in rifles, instead of the short recoil design in most semi-automatic pistols. In December 1985, a second patent was filed when the Israel Military Industries (IMI) refined it for production.Functionally, the Desert Eagle feels more like a rifle than a pistol, with its rotating bolt resembling an M16. The benefit of its gas-operation is that it allows for the use of far more powerful cartridges compared to traditional designs.
This Officially Licensed Desert Eagle .50AE gun is designed perfectly down to the last detail. This .50AE feels exactly like the real one when holding it. The gun construction is unbreakable with every detail worked out to the bone. The blowback action is very smooth and does not redirect your shots at all! The grip has that classic oversized magnificent hold. Each CO2 cartridge will last about 15 magazine loads. Not what's in the picture
I've bought this gun here recently and i've received a plastic low receiver and plastic slide one. The one in the picture which is supposed to be a full metal Desert Eagle is not what you get. Even the Letters in both side says different things to the one i've got. The Israel Military thing and ect. I haven't shoot it yet and i hope it works properly. The look is almost the same but the material is not metal as i expected .

by far the best gun i ever bought online. no problems so far. love the full auto and love that its heavy. NOTE to who ever is buying u will want to buy more CO2 than bb's because the CO2 will run out faster than bb's hope this helps. i will surely buy from this site again. if anything happens to gun i will be posting again on here but as of now best gun ever

its a awesome gun loved it and something in the barrel broke on like the forth co2 tank and taking it a apart is retarded but i love the gun :D
